dgberg, Do you have any more info on her or Duncan for that matter? She's another one on my list of "who the heck are they?"

hi kjames, what i have on maggie (marpicasnawin) is her indian name is on mary madeline's and louise(a)'s baptism as the parent(s), then i have louse(a) marriage to a hunter (last name) arond 1901 with her parents listed as duncan and maggie campbell. the reason i am confident that maggie is her english name is because my aunts repeated stories my grandmother told of going to stay with her grandma and grandpa hunter in lake andes sd. her actual grandma was mary madeline campbell who died in 1909, before my grandma was born. so as we know the siblings always stepped up to take of family members. maggie campbell is listed on the 1886 census with a son samuel 16 yrs old, i have some documentation that connect them but am searching for more. i would be happy to talk to you more this weekend about what i have and share it with you just let me know your ph # through private message and i will get in touch with you either fri. evening or saturday. thanx, dgberg
